I have used these little gems to burn movies from Tivo onto a Toshiba 570 DVD burner with great results. There were no recording errors and I did not experience any loss of video or audio. Movies saved at Best Quality and then shot at Best Quality appear to be identical. The only difference I've noticed is some signal degradation when recording in SP mode or slower, but I believe that's more a characteristic of the lower recording quality at slower speeds and not the fault of the medium. I use this product to record movies and TV shows. The type shown is the yellow disks (this manufacturer's silver disks have large logos etc., leaving less room for the lettering system I describe in this report); They have barely visible horizontal lines as reference lines for marking shots with black Fine Point Sharpie markers.
