Reusable discs meet my needs

I use this product to record movies and TV shows. The type shown is the yellow disks (this manufacturer's silver disks have large logos etc., leaving less room for the lettering system I describe in this report); They have barely visible horizontal lines as reference lines for marking shots with black Fine Point Sharpie markers. I use standard Memorex 10mm clear sleeves as the same marker can be used to mark the top of the sleeve which I sort by year or theme. I use the usual clear thinner TV cases - admittedly the writing on the top of the thinner cases is small but still readable by simply looking in the drawer to find the right entry. The labels on the disc (if reused or in case of failure) or on the top of the cases are removed with alcohol. Just leave the disc in its case (easiest) or on a smooth, flat surface to avoid damaging the disc; Put rubbing alcohol on a folded paper towel and wipe away the lettering. If the ink has been on the disc for a long time, it will take a little more effort to remove the writing. In the same way, you can easily remove the lettering from plastic cases at any time. For the money and ease of use, these drives are a good buy.
