One of the most frustrating things that can happen when buying DVDs is finding that they won't work with your particular recorder. These discs are rated for 1x-2x max speed and work well with my old recorder that can't record at higher speeds. Even looking at the user manual does not always show the correct drive speed for a particular machine. I had to find this out myself by reading other users' experiences with machines of the same make and model as mine. Therefore, if you have an older recorder, make sure the disc type and speed matches the requirements of your device, otherwise the discs will be unusable. Another important point is to check the product description carefully, not all vendors include the drive speed in the details of the description. Therefore, you may need to check the drive's make/model number elsewhere to ensure it matches your computer. I'm deducting a star because this manufacturer didn't include this important information in their product description, otherwise the drives work perfectly.
