Review on Maxell 635117 DVD-RW Disc: Rewritable 4.7GB Recording Format for DVD Players and High Capacity File Archiving by Greg Lockhart

Almost all rewritable DVD spindles, some of which do not work but instead give an error message stating that this disc cannot be written to. After a horrible experience with another brand, I braced myself for another disappointment with an unusable product. The first gave this error message, so I took it out, put it back in the tray and ran it again. Then it booted and formatted normally. A total of 5 out of 15 had to be done twice but all worked. The remaining 10 are loaded and formatted immediately. The recording and playback quality is excellent. How wonderful to buy 15 in total and everything is fine; nothing had to be thrown away. Knocking down a thousand isn't that bad - it's amazing! I found the brand I want to use from now on. Good job Maxell. Please don't change anything.
