Repeated factory marriage or anomaly?

I really like this stand. This is a high performance model. The accuracy of fit and ease of movement of all parts are really good, as are the looks and workmanship. For only $200 this is a quality stand that holds my bike great. Then I noticed something. The hand holding the bike points at least 10โฐ from the center of the corner of the two extensions. You can easily see this in my photos if you look at the legs versus the tool tray and arm. The reason for this is that there are notches in the upper part of the outer tube (see picture) into which the clamp assembly of the inner slider tube is placed. These cutouts are not correctly positioned in relation to the extension mounting holes, also located in the same tube. That makes me think of a manufacturing defect in the instrument. Your targeting actions are disabled or the device may not be configured correctly. Or maybe I have some kind of anomaly. Anyone else notice this? Hey Bikehand, did you notice that? I will post it in questions. I'll fix that by making the cutouts wider and you'll be fine. But come on bike hand, if you want to do all the work of putting on a nice stance, then at least fix your mids.

Pros
  • Decent performance
