Bought this for my wife to replace our old knives which were made up of parts of different types and brands so it was difficult to decide when we needed one knife for certain things. This knife set basically contains all kinds of knives that anyone can need in their personal kitchen. They are very sharp, the blades are not too heavy but not too light either, the perfect weight to hold and use. I really like how the entire knife is integrated into the handle, making the knife one long piece, which provides better balance and more cutting pressure. It also includes a nice sharper rod and the whole thing fits perfectly into the included block of wood where each type of knife fits into its slot, helping us easily identify which one we need when we need it.
