I've only had this blender for a week or so and have used it 3 times so I'm now giving it 4 stars out of a possible 5. I have to admit that it is much better than I expected and very quiet! The engine block is a solid weight and easy to lift (I keep it in an overhead locker) and the small suction cups on the legs add stability in use. It seems to mix really well (I used frozen fruit, bananas, and protein powder) with a nice smooth texture. I've tried all the blending modes and they all seem to work fine. If I have any complaints, and they're minor, I wish plastic cups had measurement markings so you know how many different ingredients you're putting in them. The only mark is the MAX fill line. Eventually I will add my own. Otherwise I am very satisfied with my purchase. I did a lot of research on many brands and price ranges of smoothie blenders and thought this offered the best value for money. The 800 watt motor is great and outperforms the little 250 watt toy it replaced. The product packaging and materials were well printed and easy to read, and I also received some nice follow-up emails from customer service asking if I had any questions (and writing a review, of course!). It looks like this company is really trying to make a name for itself and so far I'm impressed.
