Comfort is what you expect, but "warmth" is definitely not what you need. Welding with them was a pleasure. The holes have not yet burned out, even when lifting hot metal. The thickness is good so I still have enough flexibility to adjust the torch and weld settings but I have enough protection that my hands aren't getting burned just yet while on it. I've been working with them for about 5 months and they're still going strong.
