I wanted to change the look of my room. I'm looking at large and small velvet boxes from the same manufacturer/seller. They are adorable: the large box of four packs fits my drawers perfectly, which fit 13 x 13 x 13 velvet boxes. I needed to update the look of my office so voila! I've bought more sets of large ones that work great. In total I now have sixteen large boxes. The velvet box idea is a good one and makes it even better when guests come into my very small room to look at my paintings. I don't have room for dressers and other nicer storage solutions. I keep a lot of boxes behind a room divider and the plastic boxes are stacked against closet doors. The smaller 12.2 x 8.2 x 6.2 cm velvet boxes sit on top of a closed storage box with a lid. Smaller boxes are used as compartments and are perfect for small items to organize. It's amazing how many storage solutions there are, and in this case, they look beautiful. I came up with this plan a few years ago to store things that would make my office look awful if they were in plain sight. I have boxes of shoes, boots, art supplies, hats, hair accessories, cosmetics, jewelry, skin care products hidden behind a divider. I also have small velvet storage boxes with storage space behind the partition. This is how velvet looks (feels like velvet) good and feels good. I assume that these boxes will gather dust at some point. I will try the sticky rollers that pet owners use to brush their fur and they will work very well. Then after a few years I will replace the boxes. The price for all of this isn't cheap, but I love how nice my room looks now. While there is a problem with keeping these drawers open, I will fill them to keep them open. You are usually given a liner located at the bottom inside to keep the boxes open. They open by turning around and forcing the walls to open on all sides to keep them from coming back. The quality is excellent, there are more than enough of those and the black with cream and handles lasts quite a while. Enjoy!
