Here's a spoon for lamps and lighting accessories

Before you start, take some blue Loctite for the carvings, loosen the cooling fins and put a few drops on them a few hours before installing. Orange rubber grommet, I think that's the problem people have when fixing the bulb in place. Remove the orange foil and cut in half. I used my wife's razor and vegetable cutting board. Apply again to the bulb. Good for installation. The driver's side rear cover came off easily, the old bulb popped out, the new one stood up and snapped into place. About five minutes for installation. Now the time is adding up here. We twist the extra wire and reattach the clamps to the covers! BMW engineers built these cars to please other engineers! These cars were not built for the average person to do basic maintenance. They are made for people who will never open the hood. Let's get back to the installation. The driver's side covers took about 10 minutes to finally snap into place after some curiosity. Pull back the two clips on the passenger side, remove the cover, twist, twist and pull the air conditioning hose slightly and it's out, very easy! The bulb snapped into place and was firmly fixed. We will return the case. Here's the hard part. I had to loosen the two screws on the bracket that holds the vacuum bottle. Remove the top and bottom brackets by simply unclipping them. This allows you to manipulate it enough to slide the cover back towards the inner wing and viewfinder. The engine side cover slides back behind the AC hose with little manipulation. The clamps were the tricky part again and was the most time consuming part of this setup. This is my first Honda and Volkswagen BMW. And in general they work. Yes, the installation is more complicated than it should be. It took almost an hour on the nose due to the clips on the covers. Another tip: wear gloves! If I didn't, I'm sure my hands would be in a mess. The end results look good without codes so far. I will update if anything changes in lamp wattage. Yes I would again, honestly I've looked at LUX but was wondering if it works great! If not, I'll trade two hundred for another brand. Let my photos of the aftermath do the talking.
