This product cleans, moisturizes and brightens ANY color of leather goods (shoes, bags, coats, chairs, etc.) in ONE step. For example, it can redistribute color from one area to another; if there is a worn area on the shoe where lighter colored leather is visible. New shoes look like they were polished by the military after just 30 seconds of touch up. I picked up a pair of old slippers that I had warned about had been sitting in the yard for years, soaked with water from the sprinkler setting, and after eight uses they look like the shoes that came out just a few months ago. Hard skin becomes elastic again with repeated use over several days. Just follow the directions on the container. Use very sparingly for best results. Works great with gun leather, belts etc. I used to work through quality leather shoes in six months. I have a pair of shoes that have lasted over 10 years with Leathermate. Although the product is expensive, it more than pays for itself by extending the life of leather products treated with it. I can't recommend it highly enough.
