This antenna allows us to receive powerful stations 100 miles away. We live in a small town in the country. The nearest station is 35 miles away and has less power. Most days we can pick up all 3 major networks and PBS stations. Sometimes we lose the signal or it is of poor quality, but this is most likely due to our location or the location of our antenna. We live in north-central Iowa and thought the weather would be too extreme to install a rooftop antenna. Installation in the rafters of the garage. It would have gotten 5 stars from us if the motor turning the antenna hadn't died out 2 days after installation. All in all this is a good antenna and we're happy to ditch the cables.
