Review on πŸš— Washinglee OBD2 Diagnostic Cable for VW, Audi, Skoda and Seat, Car ECU Scanner USB Cable with VAG KKL 409 Support by Darren Anderson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you know what you're doing, then this cable is for you.

Just in time. The cable was packaged very well and arrived as advertised. As with every other blue VAG-KKL cable I've bought in the past, I unplugged the OBD connector to make sure the FTDI 232RL chipset is what it is. This isn't the case with pretty much every other VAG-KKL cable vendor that claims to have an FTDI 232RL chipset built into the cable, but this is usually false (instead of CH340) so it's nice to see that a vendor is honest about its product. . The installation process was easy on both Windows 10 Pro (x64) and Windows 11 Pro (x64). The provider sends an email with detailed installation instructions for different cases. I had the drivers installed and the cable was up and running in about 5 minutes. If you've got everything set up correctly, you should see something similar to the third image I've included, with the devices associated with the cable highlighted in green. I ran an exit test to make sure the cable is recognized and active. Ignore FAIL as it has nothing to do with the cable. If you just want to read the codes I would suggest you buy a different cable or go to Autozone instead. If you want to do logging and other similar activities, then this cable is what you need.
