Where to install the converter.

The transducer and power cord match the unit, but I didn't want to drill holes in the mirror. Boat, so using a clamp from Home Depot, some Sch.80 plastic tubing from worker stocks and a flat piece of alum stock, a few stainless steel bolts and screws I made my own detachable mount that looks nice, and a small blue collar motor mount act upwards like a cushion so that no vibrations occur. I'm thinking of patenting it.
