Our 3, 4 ft fluorescent fixtures in our basement were in need of replacement. They were mounted behind the air conditioning ducts making it impossible to change out the bulbs (whoever installed the air conditioning ductwork failed to consider moving the light fixture and just installed the ductwork covering the fixtures, so the lights were never that efficient even when the bulbs were in full working order). With the cost of fluorescent tubes it was also more cost effective to purchase this pack of 4 light fixtures. After hanging 3 of the 4 lights in the basement, the area was so well lit that I decided 3 was enough and hung the 4th in our very large attic. The one light is bright enough to light the entire attic space. I could not believe one little light could be so bright. I no longer need to take a flashlight with me when searching for thing stored in my basement or attic.
