This design has been around for decades and is produced by many manufacturers. A common disadvantage is that the blades will bind before they are fully closed, as is the case with this tool. I had to gently manipulate the blades to close them on the wire with my left hand while holding the tool with my right hand and the wire with my third hand. I'm just having fun! I don't really have a third hand, but this tool makes you want one. What should have lasted two seconds stretches to five, ten or more seconds as I struggle to close the tool. Trash, junk, junk and worse than a waste of time.
