Installed on my 2008 Jeep JKU Wrangler. It wasn't in the factory configuration so I had to add everything myself. I decided to do everything right and bought regular wire harnesses to connect everything. If someone has a 2007-2009 JKU Wrangler, the wire you want to connect is just under the dash on the left foot, the wire harness has a beige and white wire. . This is your STOP cable. It's quite difficult to reach, you have to be an acrobat to get under the dash, luckily for me it was the lowest wire in the wiring harness. Once you've tapped into it, you're ready for the rest of the wiring and installation. I chose a MOPAR wiring harness and used it to connect to the Jeep. I will always have a wiring harness in case I upgrade the brake controls in the future. I still have to fix the radio interference when braking. The noise is very loud when braking. I'll try the RFI filter and see if that solves the problem. *Solved* I was able to add a plug and play built in noise filter to my satellite radio AUX cable that completely eliminated the hum. https://www.amazon.com/JABINCO-Ground-Loop-Noise-Isolator/dp/B08BRSQ7JY/ref=dp_prsubs_1?pd_rd_i=B08BRSQ7JY&psc=1
