Probably the best toilet mat we've ever had (and I've tried A LOT). I cannot recommend this rug more highly! Our cats, of which we have three, love to fool around with each other in the litter box. So we have quite a lot of accidents on the garbage mat. Someone isn't quite done yet and is running out - something like that. If you try to clean it in other carpets you break everything into groves and the only way to get it out is to soak it in a bath and now your bathroom needs a deep cleaning. However, this checkmate is amazing. Any accident is very easy to wipe off (mostly I use chlorox wipes). Garbage remains - just take a vacuum cleaner. Left #1 - Paper towel and napkin with Chlorox. Left number 2 - a paper towel and a napkin with chlorox. The groves will catch anything from the cats but are wide enough to pick up and get everything right behind them. And it's so easy to pick up, bend and throw all the junk back in the box every time we make junk. love love love this garbage mat.
