We received it for two reasons. At first we wanted to put food and water in for our cats to keep the floor clean. They are very small and our cat food holder bowls will not fit on the tray. Another use was to keep shoes near the door to keep wet and dirty shoes away from the rest of the house. Again too small. I wear size 9 Crocs when I work outside and they barely fit on mats. If you have larger shoes, they will not fit and you cannot easily fit more than one pair of shoes or boots on each mat. Size aside, they are well made, thick and durable. The rubbery material prevents water from running out of your wet boots onto the floor when you can place them on a mat. Aside from the size, I would give that five stars, but due to the size we didn't find it useful.
