Too bright? It's definitely H11. Not H8.
Works as described. Please note that they are as bright as H11 bulbs. Approximately 55W (Halogen). They matched my 2015 Ford Focus fog lights but they were too bright. I would have been stopped. H8 actually has 30W. Note that. However, I tried to install them as main headlights as they were supposed to be H11. Due to the large heat sink, hardly any light bulbs fit in. The emitter pressed against the body of the flashlight, distorting the radiation pattern. So don't take the Ford Focus. This made it perfect for the 2008 Toyota Camry as the main headlight. Same brightness as factory, but better visibility due to color temperature.
