This backpack is great. My dog has no problem with it. It doesn't seem to bother her. I use it on our daily walks and gradually started putting things in the side pockets so she gets used to it. It currently contains dry beans (1lb per side) and it really helps her get tired. It's also nice if she takes water, food, feed bags, etc. with her when we go for long walks or to the lake. Overall I am very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a backpack for their dog. My dog is an Australian Shepherd, he is "small", he weighs about 40 pounds and his chest is 25 inches in circumference. The back of the medium size fits perfectly on it.
