I got this to pack so my dog can carry his toys and water on walks so he wears out faster. it stays on He carries things. The seams on one of the outer side straps have come undone, but since they are mostly decorative, the backpack can still be used. I just hope the rest holds up better.

We bought this dog backpack online. It's good quality and a lot cheaper than what we've found in stores. I recommended buying this over something else as it has worked for my 30lb dog on our backpacking trips. I think a larger dog could use it as ours was a bit small but it still fit her. There are adjustable straps and plenty of pockets and places for water and dog supplies.

My dog (75 lbs, Australian Shepherd) has carried this bag several times. I have a large size for her and it is big enough with a lot of adjustment. I didn't give the bag five stars - it's not heavy duty, it's more of a medium size. But I'm not discussing the price.

To be honest I chose this one because it was one of the cheapest and it was suitable for a large dog. And a really big dog, my 95lb Rotti has to be on the tightest setting to keep him from slipping. I would not recommend this for a dog under 80lbs unless they are barrel chested. However, it is a great size and fits. This backpack is great. My dog has no problem with it. It doesn't seem to bother her. I use it on our daily walks and gradually started putting things in the side pockets so she gets used to it. It currently contains dry beans (1lb per side) and it really helps her get tired. It's also nice if she takes water, food, feed bags, etc. with her when we go for long walks or to the lake. Overall I am very happy with the product and would recommend it to anyone looking to buy a backpack for their dog.

We bought a medium sized pack for our border collie mix. It has room for a regular sized bike water bottle plus a few more. I also had packaged carrots (for dogs and horses). I could add another smaller water bottle, the capacity is amazing.
