Review on LG 38GL950G B Ultragear Monitor: 3840X1600P, 144Hz πŸ–₯️ Refresh Rate, Height Adjustment, Wall Mountable, Anti-Glare Coating, IPS by Mike Bawi

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best available ultrawide

This is my second Ultrawide and the first was the LG Ultragear 34. After using the 34 for almost a year I decided I wanted something more, especially given the 34's limited vertical space. Selling, I decided to take the trigger to press and select it. Pros: The RGB ring light is actually a good implementation of 8 bit 4/4/4 160Hz. Increased resolution 3840x1600. Response Time Cons: The LG software required to adjust the lighting outside of the presets is a bit jumpy and causes some programs to not work properly. Selling price 1800 (mine sells for 1500) FPS and crosshair implementation is not as good as the competition. Verdict: If you're looking for a premium ultra-wide monitor that's good for both gaming and productivity, this is the one for you. Unsurprisingly, many well-known YouTube tech reviewers use the same monitor for personal use. A worthy upgrade over the regular 34 if you can get it on sale.
