This flare kit far exceeded expectations
I've just started using this flare kit on mini split systems and setting up sling sets, by far the best I've had. The instructions say yes, oil, but not the type. I would recommend using the same oil as the freon you are working with so there is much less chance of contamination. Otherwise, the easy housekeeping works perfectly.
