I wasn't sure if I really need them but they are very comfortable!

I remove my Jump (two pads on the Jump Sport) every winter and put it back in every spring. I've been doing this for several seasons without these tools and was wondering if they were worth a few bucks or not. I am very happy with them! They make work faster and easier! Even children can help without getting trapped. Not a necessity, but definitely a "pleasure". You are worth it to me.
