I am very pleased with the outstanding features and capabilities of the First Alert Surveillance System. The system comes with everything you need to set it up, all cables, cameras and a high capacity (4TB) DVR to store the images from the surveillance cameras. This is a 'smart' security system that you can access and view remotely using the free First Alert app on your smartphone or tablet. 16 channels give you multiple viewing options from all cameras. This is a complete package, nothing else needs to be purchased. There are absolutely no ongoing monthly maintenance or monitoring fees. Your TV is a monitor and each camera connects directly and individually to a First Alert storage unit that connects to your TV. The cameras can be operated outdoors and infrared images can also be viewed in the dark. One of the cameras has 360° coverage. First Alert's security system is of high quality and excellent in every way. The installation comes pre-loaded with simple easy to follow instructions with everything needed for installation except your TV which is used to view the cameras. Careful instructions and excellent quality. I am very satisfied and impressed. Personally, I would highly recommend the First Alert security system for any family or business that cares about security. The first warning is the first assessment.
