I bought this lens for fun and it works as expected. You won't get clear photos, and it's nonsense to carry a bear with you. But you get a lot of coverage. I tried it on both the D5600 and the Nikon D810. I wouldn't recommend it for the D5600 or other cameras where the ISO and shutter are only controlled via the menu. "Auto ISO" did not work on D5600. too much worry With the D810, it was fairly easy to control shutter speed and ISO using the front and rear wheels. No aperture control. The aperture changes when zooming in: F8 zooms out completely, F16 zooms in completely. The barrel is marked for intermediate elements. Zooming in and out isn't something you have to do when composing a recording, it's anything but simple or sophisticated. The zoom lock leaves a lot to be desired. But for less than 200β¬ I can't complain. The information shows F0 and 0 mm for all shots. Attempting to use it in any mode other than manual will result in a "lens not attached" error. However, if you are mounted on a sturdy tripod and have previously zoomed in on the target area, this can be fixed. Uncropped photo attached. Looks like Amazon downsized the photo anyway. I just cropped the head from the original photo. Another note: there is no Nikon T-mount connector included, you must either buy one separately or flip it over from another lens. The lens does not fit in the T-mount body with end cap. stingy, stingy, stingy!
