ADVANCED OPTICS: Featuring an optimized design, this lens uses a series of 6 optical glass elements (one SD super-low dispersion) in 5 groups to reduce chromatic and spherical aberrations throughout the aperture range. A high definition anti-reflective coating suppresses lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color fidelity. SUPER ZOOM: 650-1300mm or 1300-2600mm with the 2x converter, this lens is not only a superb long range choice, but also performs well in a variety of scenes from sports and surveillance to lunar shots. SOLID CONSTRUCTION: Full metal body and rear mount allow this lens to withstand wear and tear much better than plastic lenses while commanding a rugged, solid feel when using. MANUAL FOCUSING: This lens has preset f-stops that correspond with the focal length at which you are shooting. An index for distance and diaphragm scale is inscribed on the lens barrel to coordinate focal length and aperture. COMPATIBILITY: Can be used on all Nikon APS-C and full frame cameras including D7500, D7200, D7100, D5600, D5500, D5300, D5200, D5100, D5000, D3400, D3300, D3200, D3100. Good camera lens

I bought this lens knowing it was fully manual, no auto focus (as a reference to the price). I have read many reviews on this lens and of course as with most products you have read both the good and the bad. I went to YouTube and watched videos about this Opteka, it has many names like "Bauer". It's the same, only the name is different. It weighs around 4.5 pounds so yes you can hold it in your hands but it is difficult to keep it stable so a sturdy tripod is highly recommended! Since it's allโ€ฆ

Fun for the money.: SLR lenses

I bought this lens for fun and it works as expected. You won't get clear photos, and it's nonsense to carry a bear with you. But you get a lot of coverage. I tried it on both the D5600 and the Nikon D810. I wouldn't recommend it for the D5600 or other cameras where the ISO and shutter are only controlled via the menu. "Auto ISO" did not work on D5600. too much worry With the D810, it was fairly easy to control shutter speed and ISO using the front and rear wheels. No aperture control. Theโ€ฆ

The post is something like Miss Host.

Opteka 650-2600mm high resolution telephoto zoom lens. It's not really a 2600mm lens, it's a 1300mm lens. It comes with a 2x teleconverter that changes it to 2600mm. and you look and stumble upon the info that really says 1300mm but as the name of the product doesn't say it's "2600mm with the included teleconverter". Would I buy it again? yes I like it? First yes. It was cloudy here, so I couldn't photograph the moon with it. The lens cap on the front just pops open and I've taken it off a fewโ€ฆ

With patience and the right settings, great shots can be taken!

This is a fully manual lens so it takes some trial and error to get the settings right for good shots. The first tip I learned from asking a question in the product Q&A is to slow down your shutter speed if you're only taking solid black shots - you need to let in more light. The focus ring is very sensitive, so it can be a little touchy. adjustment is a hassle, especially since the lens shakes at the slightest touch - even more so the further you zoom out! Once you get comfortable with theโ€ฆ

Good telephoto

I was looking for a telephoto lens that could shoot really long distances without having to spend a fortune on a quality lens. I read reviews about this lens from professionals, sellers and buyers. Revain's review page is pretty much in line with the general reviews I've read on all the other sites. Some reviewers were satisfied while others thought it was less than what they needed or expected. In my opinion, this lens has both advantages and disadvantages. The first thing that catches yourโ€ฆ
