Okay, first of all, I'm running an Octicore AMD 8350 Black Edition on an Asus MB with a GSkill 8GB x 4. With the Wraith cooler they sent I was only able to get 4.1GHz due to overheating. I finally decided to break down and buy a liquid cooling system. Everything I found leaked and stopped working within 6 months. Until I came across it. I reluctantly ordered it not knowing the brand but all the relevant answers made me more than optimistic about my purchase. After receiving it, I started the unnecessary work to create this monster. Finally, take out the motherboard, remove the necessary parts and install the main bracket, then climb back up to put it back together. The first problem I had was attaching the heatsink to the back of my Thermaltake case, there was a crossbar getting in the way, my handy rotozip made a good cut to fit where the fan should have been. However, the holes did not match. Drilled new holes and tada. Installation completed. Everything else was pretty easy. Now to my main point. With ghost cooling, I was hovering around 50 degrees on a 4.1 overclock. With this cooling system, it dropped to 22 degrees. I used AMD overclocking and started to realize how much more I could get. Frozen at 4.5. rebooted and is now running like a beast on steroids. At a whopping 4.4GHz, a CPU cooler REALLY makes a big difference.
