Review on ๐Ÿงถ Large Blue Knitting Yarn Bag by BeCraftee - Portable Craft Bags for Wool and Crochet Accessories with 7 Pockets, Handle, and Shoulder Strap by Nicole Mcleod

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Terrible chemical smell.

This bag is mostly good, but there are a few downsides. One of them - mine came out of the box with seven (I counted) different dangling/loose strings. I wouldn't buy a knit bag from Goodwill that has so many strands of thread stuck in the seams, but it's still a minor thing and I'll admit it. Second, it's a total cheap plastic/vinyl/chemical stink (I'm not sure). exact source). After six hours of sitting in the sun and in the fresh air, the smell hadn't diminished. I'm going to put a bowl of baking soda in there and let it sit overnight. I don't want to put my yarn in this bag now because I'm afraid that it absorbs the smell. I would really like to use this pack - it's big, I like the many holes at the top for different thread colors and the side pocket is very nice too. And maybe if the smell doesn't go away I'll use it to wash acrylic yarns, but nothing like my wool, silk or other delicate fibers that can't just be thrown in the washing machine.

Pros
  • Organization, storage and transport
Cons
  • Very expensive
