I have used pads like this for a while (other brands) as a way to take quick notes when needed without having to waste paper, and leave a few laying around the house for times they are needed. Decided to try this brand per the low price. It's built as well as any other in this price range and operates basically the same. The lock switch works (though it's tiny). Stylus is a bit fiddly to pop out. Biggest complaint is that these are not NEARLY as bright as the photos in the ad show. Maybe one-third as bright? You can read them easily if you are in a very well lit room, but in an area with so-so-lighting they're not that easy to read. For this reason I probably won't be buying this brand anymore. So far I haven't really found one of these type tablets that are what I'd actually call "bright", but these are dimmer than any of the others I've tried so far.
