This bracket does the following: Holds the antenna to the vehicle. He does what he has to. Installed on a 2011 Dodge Caliber paired with a Uniden 505 and a 2ft Firestick. 80+ km/h and it doesn't stop. I managed to get an SWR of around 1.1 on all channels - this is mainly due to the radio and antennas, but the mount helps. The mount gave me just enough cable to work with to get it through the hatch and all the way forward with headroom. Overall, I'm happy with this entry-level mount. Maybe in the future I'll get a bigger mount for longer antennas, but for the price it works great!
