Order this to dehydrate foods like bananas and other fruits. Unfortunately, this rack does NOT come with any instructions or recipes, and after asking publicly if there are any recipes, the manufacturer has not responded that the recommendations from the original book that comes with the Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill should be used. Well, these instructions aren't very detailed, so I did my best on my first attempt at dehydrating bananas. I filled all three trays that cover this shelf and I even went on You Tube and saw someone using Ball brand Fresh Fruit so I made a special trip to the store to buy it. I applied it to banana slices. Throughout the process, Ninja Foodi's internal grill (on in dehydration mode) will work for 7-8 hours. My end result was smaller than I would like and the presumably dehydrated banana chunks were thrown in the trash. The positive aspects of using this rack are that it is easy to clean and has a folding function. Ultimately I decided to return this accessory knowing it required more work and time than I was willing to invest and the fact that there are NO specific recipes/instructions except very few in the small original cookbook / Instructions supplied with the Ninja Foodi Indoor Grill. Didn't have the same experience as other reviewers like poor design etc. Too bad it didn't work for me but it is what it is. I gave it four stars for its quality construction, but I highly recommend Ninja create and design a good DEHYDRATION cookbook. Can it make things a lot easier for your consumers?
