Those are definitely the ones you need.

Like everyone else in the world, I had a set of Stanley chisels in my garage that I picked up out of nowhere and from nowhere. Maybe they were given to me at birth... I don't know, they were just always there. I think all men should have these sets by the time they turn 18 or so. Anyway, I've used them on various small projects over the years. I didn't really know what the chisel was for so who knows what kind of abuse they endured. to turn them over. Enter the villain. I scraped the paint off the one I used as a stirrer, sanded the notch off the other used to knock the nail out of the board, and pulled the other out from under my bench (which is now rocking again). They were rough... so I sanded the back to perfection, re-sanded the fronts and gave them a very nice edge. Armed and prepared, I began using them as real chisels. I quickly discovered my mistake and put them back to use as paint stirrers, crowbars, and levels. Each had serious nicks and gouges from use in fresh wood! It was funny. Again I wondered what the hell the chisel was for. I took it on the advice of a friend. NOW I know what the chisel is for. All manner of serious woodwork... including making flat spots for 3" bezels. If you don't have the right chisels I would recommend these. They arrived perfectly flat on the back and were sharp enough to shave with. It's been a month of good use and they're still fresh out of the box.
