I bought these to use in my container garden to hold the insect net over the plants. They had to be strong to hold the mesh in place and I was hesitant to buy this 1 inch size because I doubted they would hold tight enough. Not right! If they're glued together, you REALLY need to put in some effort. I glued single magnets to the outside of the planters at intervals, made hoops out of 1/2" PVC pipe to hold the bug net, and draped the net over the hoops. , Fixing with a reciprocal single magnet outside the grid. Easy turn on and off to tend plants If they can withstand the wind, rain, and heat like I've used, they should work just about anywhere you need a magnet Strong little things!
