got light, first it worked then just 1 week later the toggle switch died in the on position. Now the only way to use the lamp was to leave it unplugged until I needed it. Today (10/26/21) I decided that something must be wrong inside. I found a Phillips head screw. I unscrewed it and removed the bottom part to see the wiring inside. There was a plastic plug. I looked closer and saw another plug to plug into. I had to use 2 pairs of needle nose pliers to get a good grip on each connector (there isn't much room in the base) but you have to put some effort into making sure the connectors are fully seated. to each other. After I connected the plugs together, the switch worked fine. Someone at the factory doesn't connect these connectors to the end, so either during shipment or after receiving the lamp, the connectors are separated from each other. and the switch doesn't work. If the lamp was off when the plugs were unplugged, this will likely prevent the lamp from working at all. In my case the lamp was on when the plugs were unplugged, so the lamp worked as long as the power cord was plugged in. , it was just a switch that didn't work. We didn't have to fix these lamps, which initially cost too much money.
