This antenna is an amazing device. It's very easy to set up and works on multiple bands including 2m which is what I really need as an amateur. The reason I read this so low is that after using the antenna 3 times, part of the tripod ripped apart completely. . In particular, the screw in the head had snapped off. Everything else works very well. But this lack of a cheap tripod was very disappointing. Luckily, as I said, the head was snapped off, but that snapped screw is common on most tripods. I have a much better tripod and only use it with an antenna. But you'd think that at the expense of this antenna, the company would have included a tripod that held together better. Can't wait to take this antenna on a hike.
