NO! disappointment exercise. Doesn't even come close to heating or flowing solder like a Hakko tip.

FIRST CHECK: I've used quite a few of these so far. Haven't noticed any problems with the heating. Fits my soldering station. I compared them to Hakko cleats and didn't feel much of a difference in fit. However, fit is measured in very small increments for this type of application, so I probably won't feel any difference. They heat well, puddle well, clean well and so far I haven't had any problems with them. However, I've only used them 3-4 times for tinning 22-14 gauge wire and splicing wires. But I used bigger tips. Edit: 9/10/2020 Okay, so a few days ago I wanted to solder some LED strips, having done well with the big Newcalox tips, just tin the wire. I was going to use a 1.2mm bit and found the end was pitted and chipped off. I contacted the seller and he sent a replacement. However, tonight I replaced the Newcalox 1.2mm bit tip because I'm the same size as the Hakko tip and wanted to see how they compare. I had a terrible time trying to melt the solder fast enough to separate the LED pads by 2 seconds. The solder didn't flow properly and when I tried to desolder the pad it wasn't possible. Just make sure the solder doesn't melt. I thought I was so I turned the iron on to 325C and the same. It just took too long to melt the solder on the LED pad. I tried all possible combinations and cut off a few small sections of the LED strip and 22AWG wire for testing. It all ended in disappointment and I seriously doubted myself. So today I put on my new Hakko .12m bit, tinned it and got to work. IMPRESSIVE! The solder melted on the contact pads almost immediately. I thought, "Wow, that's too hot." So I switched my station from 325C to 315C and BAM, almost instant solder tinned onto the pads of the LED strip, and the solder flowed like a Flow. Then I tried soldering the wire to the pad and same thing, the solder flowed great and fast with a nice connection and I connected the wire to the pad in less than 1 second. Soldering became a pleasure again, not a pain. They go in the bin. I wasted $11, but I learned a good lesson - buy branded nozzles. They're just better at everything. I will never use this advice again. If you have a decent non-branded soldering station, just take the brand name advice and turn your non-branded station into a branded station using only good quality soldering tips.
