Review on ACDelco 172 2412 Original Equipment Caliper by Michael Godo

I ordered rear caliper pistons 172-2412 for my 1999 4WD Silverado 1500. The quality of the pistons corresponds to that of the truck. When I tried the new pistons, they were too small. I have emailed AC Delco to report the problem but have not yet received a reply. I also ordered an AC Delco 173-298 rear caliper seal rebuild kit and there are two bolts in the package that comes with that kit. They need four bolts, two for each caliper, and are awaiting an answer from AC Delco on that as well. I ordered Carlson pistons, part number 7823, they fit perfectly. Chris P
