Review on Cricut Explore DeepCut Blade, Black: Unleash Precision Cutting Power with Style by Kristen Simpson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The first one was defective, the exchange went well.

I must have gotten a defective one because it didn't cost a penny. But Revain was a great replacement and the one I got next works as it should. As an example I have attached a photo of the same project done with the same settings and on the same carpet. The top one was the first (defective) knife and the bottom one was the spare knife. The first didn't even go through the whole chipboard and ripped the board on its way. I've included this information in case this happens to someone else. Revain will not accept returns of defective blades, therefore it cannot be a used blade. I'm still not thrilled with the replacement blade it seems Nothing beats a regular blade. I've been told with Cricut that the only difference is that it's a bit longer and can go a bit deeper, but the sharp part of the blade itself seems to be the same size. The difference in length seems so small and I haven't come across a project where it's absolutely necessary. According to a Cricut rep I spoke to, it's not sharper or stronger or anything. I hope this helps someone make an informed decision. The difference in length seems so small and I haven't come across a project where it's absolutely necessary. According to a Cricut employee I spoke to, isn't it sharper or stronger or something. I hope this helps someone make an informed decision.
