I used them to dampen the sand to smooth the bottom of my pottery. I love how easy they are to use, but didn't like how the diamond circles fell off. The 200s and 400s were used in the same way, but the 400s lost a lot of grinding wheels. This was the first time I've used them, but I've sanded about 40 pots to be honest. For this purpose I have to find something better. Edited: I changed my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. The company contacted me, returned the money and offered to buy a new design. I like the new design much better because I haven't lost a single contact strip. However, I've only used it once. I'll see how well they work as I grind more.
