Review on 🚲 Sram XG-1295 Eagle Cassette: Unisex Standard Size in Black – An Effective Gear Upgrade by Alex Ferry

This cassette is a quality device. But I only give it 4 stars because the price is out of control. On my previous bike, a replacement Sram cassette cost less than $100. But that replacement cartridge costs almost $400! For real?! I can't understand the justification for such a high cost and it will result in replacement being delayed beyond the life of the cartridge. I replaced my cassette due to a broken tooth on a large cog. This is the weak point of this cartridge. Some teeth are very finely machined and may break under stress. So I'm giving this cassette 4 stars as I'm generally happy with the performance of the Eagle drivetrain. However, the cost of replacing this cassette is extremely high and reduces the overall cost of the Sram Eagle system.
