🚲 Sram XG-1295 Eagle Cassette: Unisex Standard Size in Black – An Effective Gear Upgrade Review

1295 is a great set, use it on my gravel bike. On the highway during the week, on gravel at the weekend. So I decided to get a second set of rims with road tires to be able to swap between them on weekdays and weekends.

If you are looking at this product you probably don't need a rating. I bought this for a new wheelset for my 29er. I want to cut as much of the rotating weight as possible. It is definitely lighter than the Sram GX cassette. I paired this with my old GX chain and derailleur - works great. As another reviewer said, spend your money on this cassette and save on the chain and derailleur. The Xo cassette with GX chain and Gx front derailleur work great.

This cassette is a quality device. But I only give it 4 stars because the price is out of control. On my previous bike, a replacement Sram cassette cost less than $100. But that replacement cartridge costs almost $400! For real?! I can't understand the justification for such a high cost and it will result in replacement being delayed beyond the life of the cartridge.
