Works great

Installed on a 2012 Nissan Altima 2.5S Bluetooth model and works great. Although faced with some difficulties due to lack of resources on the Internet. Here are some tips to follow: 1) Purchase a complete wiring harness as shown below so you don't need to connect additional wires to control the steering wheel from the car wiring harness. I used breakers so the wires can be easily swapped out in case of miswiring. Also, everything in your house can be pre-wired so you can just plug it in when you install it in your car. Bluetooth bypass adapter/harness PAC BT-SWC-NI1. This is very important if you have a Bluetooth version (call buttons on the steering wheel). If this is not set then none of the controls will work including seek, volume. I installed the SWI-RC-1 while waiting to receive the BT-SWC-NI1 and realized it was required for all controls to work. On a 2012 Altima, the factory Bluetooth module is located in the driver's side trunk, which is attached to the roof of the trunk (about 8 inch metal box). Just disconnect the 32 pin harness from it and connect BT-SWC-NI1.3) Altima 2012 has 2 SWC signal wires, make sure you connect the wires properly with the SWI-RC-1 SWC wires. I connected opposite wires and the buttons started behaving strangely. Changed cables and everything was fine. Thanks to the links. The incline settings provided by PAC are accurate. I'm using Kenwood DMX7706S and it works great with SWC.
