Great telescope for beginners

Great telescope for a year. I went with the 5" because it fits my budget and is much more portable than the 6" and 8". The telescope arrived in two boxes and was well packaged. The assembly was fairly easy and straightforward. But in the first night i tested it the red dot finder wouldn't turn on and off I contacted support and they refunded the price of the red dot finder so I could buy another one I think it's reasonable the telescope was good quality and in two pieces easy to carry.I also brought it with a nex-yz adapter and a set of eyepieces. In my opinion I wouldn't buy a phone adapter and eyepiece as I don't use the adapter and eyepiece often They only use a moon filter and 13, 17 and 32mm eyepieces. I also brought a generic LPR filter which helps a little to highlight dark objects and filter out light pollution. The jump function was very helpful in locating objects, especially DSOs. I will use the 2-star auto-alignment method and manual location settings. This telescope is suitable for getting started with astrophotography, but the shutter speed can be limited to a maximum of 30 seconds. Although there was a polar alignment option, this was very difficult as I live quite close to the equator in Hong Kong and the mount flexes into a very odd position when tracking. For the first few months I only watched from the city. , which was on a scale of 9. The planets are clearly visible, the belts of Jupiter and its satellites, the rings of Saturn are clearly visible. If you need a telescope for ONLY planetary observing I would recommend some of the non-shift telescopes like the Dobsonian or the Maktus as a larger aperture will allow you to see more detail. You don't have to walk as the planets are very bright and sometimes the mount gets lost. The Orion Nebula can only be seen in bright areas. The Andromeda Galaxy is NOT visible at all in illuminated locations. I later managed to get to a better point (Boardle 5) and it was excellent and I was able to see the Double Cluster, the Orion Nebula and the Andromeda Galaxy. much better. I would recommend this scope to beginners and those new to astronomy. You can get good results in the city center, but a trip to the space site makes the view truly spectacular. I will not recommend this for astrophotography, but recommend telescopes with a German equatorial mount. * Images captured with the A6000 remote control camera.
