Not too loud, not too quiet, just right.
Good fit and finish. The exhaust sound is not too loud, I would say it is close to the original muffler installed on my new car in 1987. He got the car back to how it should be, which is nice. While not a direct OEM replacement, the dimensions listed are accurate and I was able to install it with no problems.
