Review on Synergy Endorphin Sleeveless Quick John: Ideal Men's Triathlon Wetsuit for Open Water Swimming Ironman & USAT Approved by Bret Wong

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm glad I chose the triathlon suit over the surf suit.

My first wetsuit. I was concerned that the triathlon suit would be delicate as some say. I try not to dig my nails into the suit (especially the slick exterior) but a wetsuit is by no means delicate. I have M2. I'm on the border between M2 and M1, but closer would not be a good idea for me. The manufacturer recommends going up a size if you're on the edge and the M2 is comfortable enough for me as it should be. The back zip is still a challenge for me to make my own (I don't want to pull the zip too hard, it's strong but not invulnerable). I watched a video on the manufacturer's website to see how to do it and I'm getting better at it. A wetsuit adds buoyancy and warmth around the chest. I'm using it to extend my swim season at Lake Champlain, Virginia and I think this wetsuit will work for me in temperatures up to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Sounds like great hardware for the money and the warranty is impressive (see Support: Warranty via the horizontal navigation bar on their website). You can even trade in your used suit for a new one for a lifetime at a whopping discount (40%). Obviously I haven't tried it yet so I'm not sure if they will deliver on that promise in 5 years time but I might try when the time is right. At this point I would say that a wetsuit is a pretty good choice for a recreational swimmer looking to spend a few extra weeks in the lake. covers manufacturing defects) in exchange for a review, I did. I've tried to remain objective despite this small bribe/thank you gift.

  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
