Use their guide to get a good fit

Perfect fit after I used their guide. I used this for my first triathlon and everything went very well. I wasn't too cold in the water and felt very comfortable. Excellent lift and landing. I didn't want to deal with fat so I was looking for a short sleeve style and the water in my area isn't usually too cold so I wanted a short leg style as well. . It fully met my needs. Everything went smoothly during the changeover. I would be happy to use it again.

3XL INCREDIBLY TOO SMALL

I'm 6'1" and weigh 245 pounds and can easily fit in a 12 chest blazer all day. Not only was this 3XL too small, it was ridiculously small. It didn't fit, it didn't fit. The back zipper had a 4 inch gap that I couldn't close to zip up the back because it's ridiculously small. I think if you are 6ft 3" and not only skinny but very skinny (36" chest for example) you can zip this suit but its not 3XL! I have 5 wetsuits all XL or 2XL and they all fit great.

So far so good for a minimalist wetsuit

I bought this suit to try something new: a wetsuit that can be quickly removed when transitioning to triathlon. First of all, full sleeve wetsuits and full legs are a real dog to take off, and many times I forgot the time chip anklet and had to start over. So when I read the specs that this suit has a 5mm hull thickness I thought maybe it still had enough buoyancy to make me feel safe over long distances in open water. The lack of sleeves makes it easy to swim with your hands. The lack of pant…

Very comfortable for diving and snorkeling

I was afraid it wouldn't keep me warm enough but in the 70F seas I used it was fine (I'm more sensitive to cold than average). My core was warm enough. The sleeveless structure makes a huge difference and saves my shoulders the extra work the sleeves put on them. I did not increase the size. It wasn't easy to close it the first few times. To do this alone, I had to bend down so the wall covered one side of the zipper, pull to make room to close it with my free hand, and pull the zipper up…

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Functionality

This suit gets 3 stars for its main function: to warm the upper body. That's the only good part. The fit is odd. I would not recommend the L1 to anyone over 6ft. I would also recommend a maximum of around 175 yards at 5ft 10”. It's not just that I'm on the heavy side for the size class, but my neck was really rubbing against me when I was swimming. I swam about 2500 yards, 1600 yards. Punches (clock hand) and it started to annoy me about halfway through, and towards the end it actually hurt…

L3 - Big Boy Wetsuit

I'm 6ft 2in and 265lbs. I don't have male breasts, but I do have a broad upper body. I definitely carry my extra pounds in my stomach, I also have a fleshy buttocks. This suit was very easy to put on and I just followed the instructions he gave. It's a wetsuit. So for the chest I had to stretch/push the suit a little, zip up a little, stretch/push it a little, zip up a little until the zip pops open if my wife would be easier than a simple zip could be could be a few (2-4 inches) longer and it…

I'm glad I chose the triathlon suit over the surf suit.

My first wetsuit. I was concerned that the triathlon suit would be delicate as some say. I try not to dig my nails into the suit (especially the slick exterior) but a wetsuit is by no means delicate. I have M2. I'm on the border between M2 and M1, but closer would not be a good idea for me. The manufacturer recommends going up a size if you're on the edge and the M2 is comfortable enough for me as it should be. The back zip is still a challenge for me to make my own (I don't want to pull the…
