Perfect length to extend the 7 pin wiring to connect to a van and trailer. The 7-pin plug is usually installed in the rear area of the body, where it is easily accessible for connecting caravans. Our truck's wiring came out the front of the RV and in this case wasn't long enough to reach the 7-pin connector at the rear. This extension was more than enough to get the job done. Wire gauge was varied (larger) in the sleeve for battery charging, grounding and electric brakes, making it the perfect choice for trailer wiring. The length should be long enough to use the standard 7 pin connector on most trucks bumper unless you have a 7 pin AUX connector plugged/installed in the truck bed. The plug tips were of good quality and should have lasted a very long time.
