It works on a 2013 Jetta but retains the original spring.
Like other reviews. Leave the original spring, it is long and gives more tension. The one I got was short and produces a high-pitched whistling or ringing sound when the car is running for a few minutes, after which the noise doesn't go away. You should straighten it out a bit and make sure all the clips snap into place. I also cleaned the MAP sensor. Has been working without problems for a few days now. This resolved my error code P0106.
